Focused on Industry Investing
As a private equity firm, Crosslake is focused on investing in privately held aerospace and defense businesses. Our objective is to be recognized as a trusted supply chain partner preferred by Government and Tier-One aerospace suppliers.
To achieve this goal Crosslake intends to invest in 5 to 10 complimentary A&D subsidiaries that demonstrate the proper criteria for maintaining critical mass and a sustainable competitive advantage. The impetus of this strategy is to leverage current consolidation within the A&D industry.
The Factors Behind Consolidation

Industry consolidation is being driven by a number
of issues:
- Tier 1 customers are interested in larger, well-capitalized, and better managed companies to develop and deliver a more diversified offering of products and services
- The US Government and large Tier-One companies are moving to consolidate and deepen their supply chain with key partners who can deliver high quality products and services in a timely manner
- Smaller A&D suppliers lack the capability to solve higher
operating costs caused by increasing specifications and quality assurance requirements
The Crosslake plan strives for solution-driven sales and marketing, continuous process improvement, capacity increases, on-time delivery, and quality assurance. The plan is directed by a commitment to organizational transparency and profit-making across all activities, from complex part making to component assembly.
